I was looking at the contents of the basic_submission provided in the Colab, and it seems that we are supposed to submit a Colab file. I’m wondering if it’s possible to write the code personally in .py format, link it to GitHub, and then submit the Colab file. Can you please clarify if this is allowed?

Yes, you can submit .py file using the CLI.
