Cruncher Spotlight: Kalin Nonchev’s DeepSpot
Kalin dropped one of the most high-impact submissions of the Autoimmune Disease ML Challenge II in partnership with EWSC from Broad institute of MIT & Harvard.
His project, DeepSpot, bypasses the need for expensive spatial transcriptomics by using only H&E-stained tissue images to predict gene expression with spatial resolution.
